Was sent the below photo of a dime, to me the obverse around the ear has problems in several places, a die break and in the lower area by the date a die clash? I don't thinks its Cud but I have been known to be wrong... TIA for all help given.

Looks like there may be a die chip on there, the mark on the neck is PMD I think, overall nothing too interesting that would add value over melt, especially on a circulated common date.

EDIT: By Cud I assumed you meant the chip on the cheek, Cud's are die breaks where part of the die completely fallt off of the die, which is only able to happen from the outside of the coin and extend inwards

There is no way to tell if it's a Cud by that pic. Cuds include the rim, always. It looks like a die clash to me.

I may buy this 1955-S roll to see if its a die break/clash or as suggested PMD.
