1967 Penny From Mint Sealed Bag - Coin Community Forum

brexzz1 Valued Member Canada 348 Posts	Posted 09/21/2014 12:26 am Just going through a 1967 mint bag of pennies I purchased.... I have come across some pretty cool coins. Curved clips, Straight clips, Die rotations, Planchet flaws, etc... Can someone explain what happened to this coin and if there is a name for this type? First one looks like a mis-aligned die. Second one is a planchet flaw (it does have a weak Blakesley Effect). Third is a genuine straight clip.
