I have the impression of a jack-of-all-trades who's spread too thin to do appropriate due diligence for items in unfamiliar categories. Maybe deliberate, but I lean "ignorant" as opposed to "malicious."

Seller's Feedback is of sufficient quality that I'd approach them with respect to communicate the fact that they're offering counterfeits.

Ive been offered this sort of coins many times while browsing at car boot sales. Seller always pretends to sell on behalf of somebody or item is inherited. Next week-same seller, same fakes and same story.

Well, looking at the other items for sale this seller seems to have a garage sale. None of the other items are coins so this could be an ignorant seller, but both listings have already been sold. In conclusion the buyers are more ignorant than the seller.

Not a very good validation of your point since he mentions he thinks it's fake in the auction title.

Sold for 102 pounds. So no one is thinking they are real that would be about $10 a coin or so.
