Greetings all, as a matter of curiosity I was wondering through the local aucion site here in New Zealand and stumbled upon this
http://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-c...85536658.htm under the 'cool' auctions section, it's a "1934 one pound bank note signed by Governor Lefeaux, with an 'A' prefix on the serial number."
Now up until now currency collection isn't something I've looked into personally so suffice to say my knowledge in this area is 'limited'. Only I'm curious as the seller seems to believe that the 'A' prefix potentially places this note into the 'rarer than usual' category. As far as I can tell a 'regular' Lefeaux 1-pound is worth anything up to several thousand depending upon the condition.
