what's going on above that "7"? Is that a die defect of some sort? You realize the coveted over-date is the 17/4? I am not sure if one has ever been seen with just a portion of the over-date but that mark above the left side of the "7" is making me twitch

I think it's an O-103a, punctuated date. No one would be happier than I with a 17/14! You had me twitching for a minute.

I see luster. That puts it at EF-45, but it looks VF-25. Very weak strike?

Too bad it wasn't the 17/14
