I was recently metal detecting in my backyard when I get a coin type signal. I dig down about eight inches and I find what I thought was a quarter but it was to big. Rubbing the dirt off I see one cent then it just hits me. it's a large cent. It looked in good shape for being 200+ years old and how ever long in the ground. Now I realize there is different varieties and I think someone said it was a s-250 r-2, but I'm unsure of the grade any help would be great. Just need to post pictures when I figure it out. thanks
