I help a friend by typing his auction bills every month for he holds a sale. It's not difficult work and I always decline payment. Today, I went out to his house this afternoon when he placed a group of 5 coin items on the table.

I looked at the group, then he said "These are yours".

The two commems were:

1982 Washington half proof with the box and COA though the box had seen better days.

1986 Statue of Liberty half proof the top half of the box was missing but the COA was there.

The other three items were a Bicentennial 3 coin proof set, a Lucite rectangle containing 5 1969-D Lincoln cents with a sand timer and a 1981 World Wide Mint .999 silver round.

It's always nice to have your efforts recognized and appreciated.

To my eyes, you received five commemorative coins: 1982 Washington, 1986 SoL and 1976 Bicentennial quarter, half dollar and dollar!

I have to catalog them before I put them away.

These will join the several other coins I've been given over the years.
