I have been experimenting with arranging some of my coins for a group photo. All attempts to take the picture of all together failed miserably. So I decided I would place the coins on a uniform background and try and to scale them to their actual size relative to each other. I arranged the Persian coin and some India coins for your viewing pleasure. I have seen a few members do this and man its fun, easy and the results are gratifying. Thanks for the idea.

Has a very soothing sort of appearance. Like viewing a display in a dark room in the Museum.

I like it

Cool work anoob. I've been wanting to so this with my monograms/other 5th century Romans for a while now, but it will probably involve a lot of reshoots, cutting and pasting, resizing, etc. and I don't really feel like doing all that lol. Maybe in the near future I'll come up with something.

Pretty darn good anoob, but not perfect. I can see different colour backgrounds. I haven't had time to get to grips with this myself and have been using a free online background burner, but I have one file (which I created in Paint) which is just a rectangle filled with black. So all backgrounds will be the same shade of black.

Whatever software you use, you should have the option to do something similar. I am on holiday for two weeks this Saturday and am hoping that I can spend some time looking at this.

I tweaked some of the Sizes in the India Photo. I also incorporated a cent for size comparison.

Your going to have to teach me how you did it. I like to do this with some of my coins also.

I started looking @ these images on my phone while laying in bed. Before I knew it 15 minutes had whizzed right by! I can't believe how extraordinarily interesting this is. I'm gonna bookmark this one for in the a.m. when I'm having coffee on the porch (and my brain is functional).. Thanks for sharing
