I noticed the Dansco albums 8000 series hold PDS coins where the 7000 series hold only PD issues.

For the Whitman's I don't see any indications if they hold PDS.
What would the stock # be for.. let's say Lincoln cents PDS issues?
And does Whitman have a 'slipcase' for their albums, as the Dansco's have?

Thanks,
mila_

I have a few Whitman Classic Albums, but they don't list years, Just Cents. They have the sliding covers over the coins to hold them in place and keep finger prints from getting on them. You can view them from Obverse and Reverse. The only problem with putting nice BU coins is that the plastic sliding over the coin can scuff them. On circulated Cents it makes no difference. But for valuable coins I use 2 X 2's. You can get some good flips, but you have to make sure they aren't the soft flexable ones as these have PVC and ruin most coins in time. But they should have the marked holders with date. They would probably listed as "Whitman Classic. I have several for Cents (#9140)and One for Nickels (#9133) and Quarters (#9135. But none of them have dates where you put the coins. They are blank as far as dates.
