hod hill is a place I know well, there are a few really good spots close by that I have permission on and these churn up a lot of late Roman and strangely enough later hammered silver on a regular basis. There is a farm a little to the East that has turned up the odd Celtic as well.
You will never soar like an eagle if you hang around with turkeys.....

You people are killing me, I wish I lived in the UK. I would be out in the fields every day with a metal detector.
