Without the "problem" this is a $1000-2000 coin. There are lots of bidders but it's not crazy. I think people get it. It appears real, it has a lot of detail, but it has issues.

I used to be in the market for coins like this when they were in the junk bin. I lost my taste for it after buying a shiny 1872-s which turned out to be plated to hide a plug. Coins like this are very hard to resell. To me they're only satisfying as pocket coins.
