Even I have a fake 1804 ! I bought it for a dollar; about the same quality as that pictured above.

Is there a space for the 1804 in the Whitman Folder? Will fakes fit?

These are even good-looking fakes. I think that 1894 Morgan is fake. The date really gives it away.

This is what I'm talking about. Why is this guy still selling on ebay? Ban him for good.

That last Morgan is bid up to $385.07 and the auction is ending in 1h 45m. Not good. When I see fakes bid up like that I wish I could do something about it Edit: Only 8 minutes left...

What are the fakes made of? (It looks like aluminum.)

IMHO I don't think it's aluminium because aluminium will look whiter. One of the negative feedbacks mentioned failing the magnet test so I'm going to assume it's something magnetic.

The fake 1804 is now over $500. I've reported this, twice.

"I found this coin buried down about 6 to 8 inches underground between a log cabin that was built back in the 1700 and a new erected house that was built in the 1800's that was a boarding house so I doubt it is counterfeit when I had to find it with a metal detector, . Of the two houses one being a log house and one being a house built in the 1800's as a boarding house"

There's no way to prove or disprove that statement, but I bet he's not telling the truth since it doesn't look at all like a dug coin. 1804 dollars weren't even struck for circulation. He sold the fake Trade and Morgan dollars for a ridiculously high price Doesn't ebay look at the reported items and act on it?
