I hope this is in the correct forum - I believe it was used as currency for a while.... Any ideas on what happened to the rev (?) - the side with the ship - at the 10 to 11 o'clock position. Struck thru? Something else? Also any opinions on grade?

Looks like a planchet lamination on the reverse.
