1957 Wheat Penny Error Or No ? - Coin Community Forum

dbrablec Pillar of the Community United States 1944 Posts	Posted 10/01/2014 10:44 am the dies were used - past their "prime" throughout the 50's. cracking and chipping in that area was pretty common. that is probably a crack. others with better knowledge will probably check in and be more definative. you will probably find lots of 50's coins with chips and cracks around the date and "liberty" Report this Post to the Staff
