That's a "sale"? More like an inverted sale.

They did not seem to be too busy at their tables during the GB sale and auction, for the three days during the time I was there.

They have the largest displays, the highest prices,
and the fewest patrons..IMO

What strikes me is so much inventory and this is just one dealer. Given how many dealers and collectors are holding what must be large inventories of paper money, how deep would the number of collectors have to be to absorb that total supply and are they out there?

This is my third or fourth show this year and looking at the demographics of the people attending I am sorry to say that it sure looks like there are going to be way too many dealers in comparison to collectors in the very near future.

Kind of sad really, for such a great hobby

Just my opinion

I never go to their booth at coin shows, so true Maddog. Mr Olmstead will hook you up though!

I actually bought the 1937 $50 note that I needed from him at this show.
Great individual and great prices. Actually got to talk to his wife, charming lady. there was a young boy at his table while I was there and this little boy was so polite and Mr. Olmstead gave this little boy a coin. You should have seen this little boys face. thats was this hobby is about. I will continue to do business with him.

The sale is pretty good considering it is 25% off guide prices for quality graded banknotes. Graded banknotes are usually sold at a premium; so don't expect heavy discounting for them.

I find most non-TPG banknotes are overgraded on ebay and coin shows. At least with TPG banknotes I have some assurance they are accurately graded.

I did bought a 1954 $100 Devils Face during this sale and I may post a picture of it when I get it.
