Could use some help trying to figure out exactly what this this coin is. I haven't seen too many pictures on the internet of this particular coin. Thanks for your help!

This is not an Ancient coin, so I'm going to move it to the Unidentified section.

The reverse has the Jerusalem cross on it which narrows it down a little bit.
And my guess would be that the coin is dated "16xx", perhaps with magnification you can make out the other two numbers.
Looks like a cob from the Spanish colonies, which one is the question. (Needs a better picture than the top one.)

Pity you didn't leave the original pictures as well. Different lighting shows different aspects, had difficulty finding the "16" again. While (as a note to the op) the coin might very well have circulated in the Philippines my focus would be on the mints associated with the South American silver mines. So yes, I would with high confidence identify this as a Spanish colonial cob. Weight it, so that you get an idea of the denomination (the weight was pretty accurate even for the most misformed cob). To attribute it properly you will need to find some telling detail and a specialised catalogue - the one I use is still buried with other unpacked stuff.

Let me give you some more ideas:

Both coins should be rotated by 90 degrees, currently the top is to the left.
The top picture is the reverse.
The coat of arms on the obverse is definitely a Habsburg one (*) which guarantees that it is not later than 1700 (more or less confirms the 16xx date). Since the left side of the coat of arms is not on the flan you need to focus on whatever you can identify right of the coat of arms.
As per date, do I recognise a faint "0", which would make it "160x'?

(*) including the shield of Portugal which would normally not be used later than 1640 but some of the dies might still have been used till the end or the reign of Philip IV, ie until 1665

You likely will not be able to fully attribute the coin towards it's mint and will have to settle on
"Spanish (Colonial) Cob *** Reales from the early 17th century"
Replace the *** with the right number based on the weight.
