Any Experience With Ebay's Global Shipping Program?

edweather Pillar of the Community United States 7375 Posts	Posted 10/03/2014 4:45 pm My only first thoughts are that unless a coin has some value the shipping costs might be prohibitive, and that shipping an expensive raw coin might be a no no. If I'm right, I saw many coins I wanted but I never bid because the Global Shipping Program costs were so prohibitively high. I now don't bother looking at any ebay seller that uses it. I don't see any consistency in the way the UK Customs calculates import charges but what really hurts is being charged £4 import tax (VAT) and a Royal Mail handling fee of £8.
