Has the Mint sunk to a new low using ebay flipper sales tactics?

I got this email from the mint:

New Product Alert!

"Rare glow in the dark Technology" on a beautiful silver coin!

I mean there are 7500 of them, that's not rare.

Then again Rare is a subjective term I suppose.

Quote:
• RARE (adjective)
The adjective RARE has 6 senses:
1. not widely known; especially valued for its uncommonness
2. recurring only at long intervals
3. not widely distributed
4. marked by an uncommon quality; especially superlative or extreme of its kind
5. having low density
6. (of meat) cooked a short time; still red inside

Let's see...
Quote:
#2 recurring only at long intervals.
Does this mean only a few coins will be produced at a time? Or does it mean that some coins will only be shipped out after long periods of time?

And
Quote:
#5 - low density.
Does this have an affect on quality?

Maybe they mean they're the only mint in the world that has the one set of technology that produces GITD coins? They do say the technology is rare, not the coins....
