Hi,

I am trying to identify the coins shown on the pictures.
What their value would be?

Thanks,

These look like thin, lightweight imitations of coins for manufactured for costume jewelry.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Now that's a crime, treating coins like that. Anyway, picture 1:
1) 1892, 4 Ducat, Gold, KM# 2276, Fine = $285.00
2) 1868 A, 4 Ducat, Gold, KM#2274, Fine = $350.00
3)?
4) 1909, 4 Ducat, Gold, KM# 2276, Fine = $275.00
5)?
6)?
The values are in American dollars and are if the coins are genuine and in fine cond.
Unfortunately, yours are not in fine cond., at least the ones that were used for jewelry. I would not even hazard a guess for there value. Spot value for gold at this moment is $666.20 / Oz. and you should have a total of 41.8908 g. in weight

Thanks for the info.

Any ideas how to identify the other three? I suspect they maybe Turkish (or from the Ottoman empire), but this is just a guess.

Thanks,

D.

The others appear to be Ottoman Empire trade coins. I suspect they are genuine pieces, but holed and plugged because of being worn like on a necklace etc. This was actually pretty common thing to happen to these coins during that time.

I was able to make out two of the the Turkish coins.

#1 close to the ducat is from Turkey 50 Kurush dated AH 1327( @1910) 3.508 grams, 0.917 gold. Krause KM# 764, F-$70, VF-$110, XF-$150.

#2 Also from Turkey is a gold 250 Kurush, dated AH 1277 (@1861) 18.040 grams, 0.9170 gold. KM# 697. Values start at @ f-250- xf-$1500, depending on the actual date
#3 I can't make out it is upside down.

If you can provide pictures of each coin seperate, I might be able to give you a better idea.

My impression this morning was that they looked like they were all made from the same brass metal but I hope that I am wrong and that these are real gold. Since you have the expected weights now, it should be a fairly simple matter to weigh the coins together and/or separately to see if the weights are what they should be for real gold.
