These coins seem to be fairly common right now but are Uber rare in good condition with all the details, devices and legend. When getting one of these you always have to make some kind of concession. I've been enjoying the pics. I don't chime in much (although I do read threads here daily), but did want to jot down this public thank you. Having sold off my Romans and Greeks years ago in favor of Parthians and Elymaeans, I sometimes wish ancient Eastern (Non-Classical) coinage got more coverage on these boards. I was fortunate enough to have gotten the winning bids in on a few of the coins from the David Sellwood collection at auction last week...looking forward to receiving those and posting them to my Forum gallery soon. I can't imagine a better pedigree for Parthian coins than "ex-David Sellwood collection." Report this Post to the Staff
