I like this better then the candy cane one but they are still missing the boat as far as the mintage's are concerned which they really messed up on the frog at 12500 mintage , they should be dropping the mintages to no higher then 7500 but I fear its to late now to revive the series, maybe if they drop to 5000 like the lady bug things could bet back on track...meh maybe not.

They should drop the mintage to 1500 coins like the Perth Mint Hades coin. There was intense interest in that coin. 10,000 is way too high, 7500 still high, 5000 should be maximum. Best is 1500 to 2000 coins. The majority of RCM Mint products are too high a mintage for any increase in secondary value.

In that case I'd wait for a 25 or 30% sale from Colonial Acres or my local dealer, so I wouldn't lose money at least.

One day for RCM's something. I wouldn't buy something (even 10 Glass Snowmen), prior they reveal new collection. Btw, who knows, might be the mint withdrawn some Snowman coins in order to place them together with re-minted Lady Bug, Bee, Butterfly, Frog.

Awaiting stock right now. You can still buy this coin from the dealers. I think this coin looks nice, but the mintage is high. The Candy Cane coin issued last year can still be bought for issue or less. But this coin makes for a great gift.

I agree with everyone, nicer than candy cane, but will wait for one at discounted price. I like the way they only applied coin on part of the coin. I think that's what's missing on the candycane. The colors over power the cane, rather than compliment it. There's too many colors. Better to use just red/green to compliment. The yellow/ blue are too vivid and detract from the candy cane. I'm watching for a fat cane with nice use of color and under issue price. After viewing several photo's there's a wide variance on the candycane it self. I wonder if this will be true of glass snowman?

I guess many people are "watching" the price. I'd do that and wait for a discount.
