Difference Between EAC Grading And TPG

jerryc39 Pillar of the Community United States 3159 Posts	Posted 10/08/2014 5:11 pm how much stricter on grading would you say EAC is compared to TPG? Bob Grellman attributed this coin recently and gave it a F-12 grade. Would others go a bit higher? I acquired a copy of the hardback book back in May and learned a lot about grading 1857 and prior copper coins. TJsCoins Pillar of the Community United States 3229 Posts	Posted 10/09/2014 12:34 am I have the EAC Grading Guide and highly recommend it! It is a fantastic book that also covers colonials. I would give the coin question a F12 on good day from an EAC grading view point because of the condition rims and stars. BTW, I like the wood grain.
