Basically yes. For ages, the re-punched 9 was only
recognized by two types (#1 or #2). Only recently did
Charlton's expand upon the varieties of re-punched 9's
being listed. Charlton is a generic work and is not
devoted to all the specifics of the varieties. Dr.
Haxby identifies hundreds of die-marriages. Many of
these, to the educated numismatics, are even more rare
that those identified by Charlton. And yes, these can
generate pricy funds.
