Go to his web site (haxbyvickycents) and confirm the findings. It confirmed, I believe this to be one of the scarcer of the varieties. doug Report this Post to the Staff

Dr. Haxby has the most comprehensive and extensive work dealing solely with the narrow 9 die combinations (several hundred). Dr. Haxby's site is a must for serious numismatists. doug Report this Post to the Staff

Only recently did Charlton's expand upon the varieties of re-punched 9's being listed. Charlton is a generic work and is not devoted to all the specifics of the varieties. Dr. Haxby identifies hundreds of die-marriages. Many of these, to the educated numismatics, are even more rare that those identified by Charlton.
