USArmy,

I was not comparing mine to the one you bought, I was just suggesting that people check out all the options in buying coins. I understand some people do not have coin shows every weekend like I do here. Some people do not even have an reputable coin dealer near them. It was not my intention to offend you on your purchase, I personally do not like it when people on the boards tell people they made an bad purchase unless they ask, I figure people should not post what they paid for something unless they are prepared for someone to jump in and say they got riped off or got a great deal. I guess thats all part of a public forum.

Sounds like what I would have said and for a minute I thought that was my reply. It is human nature though to always say I could have bog it cheaper. You could buy something worth a million dollars for $1 and someone would say My Uncle could have got that for 0.50. It's just human nature.
As to coin shows, fortunately we have at least 3/month around here. Occationally a few additional really big ones. What I like about the constant flow of coin shows is you get to know lots of dealers personally. I know on like you can find a lot of great deals and as pointed out, there are lots of the coins you are looking for. But at a coin show where you get to know the dealers they will look for a specific coin for you and at usually an amazing price. I was telling many of those dealers I needed a 1920D Lincoln in at least MS-63 or better. It took almost a year but two dealers came up with them and gave them to me free. One dealer continuously gives me Whitman Albums free. He said at the next show he will bring a box of them and let me have my pick.
USArmy you are doing pretty well but I just suggest you attempt to find some coin shows, frequent them, talk, talk, talk to dealers there so they get to know you. You may be amazed at what you can achive by this. Oh so many deals go to those that know someone.
It is sort of like the job market. It's seldom what you know, but who you know.
