The following is a release from the US Mint

Roosevelt-$1-Coin-&-First-Spouse-Medal-Set-Available-10/21WASHINGTON - The United States Mint Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Set - Franklin D. Roosevelt (product code XU4) will be available for purchase beginning Oct. 21 at noon Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

The set is priced at $9.95 and includes one uncirculated Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential $1 Coin and one bronze medal with the same likeness of Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt that appears on the First Spouse Gold Coin struck in her honor. The coin and medal are enclosed in a durable plastic card that is enhanced with beautiful representations of the portraits of the President and Mrs. Roosevelt. Historical information is printed on the back.

Are there any collectors of this series out there? Depending on the president and the availability at the US Mint web site, ebay shows them as selling for anywhere from $0.99 to $41+.

I am not a collector of these types of things, but might get one because the display looks nice with the two coin in it.

I like how the coin is of Teddy and the press release is of FDR.

Massive difference there despite the same last name.

Teddy did great by coin collectors. FDR did the gold seizure.
