Hi Guys,
I have recently acquired a 1937 UNC Canada Dollar Medallion and I am seeking information about it. I know it was struck in 1992 as a commemorative medallion. I know very little else. Why it was struck, where (I think it was in the UK) how many were struck, and the value. Any help will be appreciated

I've never seen one of those before, but it is an interesting piece. I'm not sure what the purpose of it was, but it might have been sarcastic or humorous.

George VI (not Edward VIII) was depicted on the 1937 dollar. Edward's reign was brief.

At first glance of this medallion, I thought it might be an attempt at coin fakery. However, it has no denomination.

Perhaps someone knows more about this medallion.

Fantasy piece, sometimes refered to as a pattern dollar.
Commemorates nothing but the fact there are people willing to buy them.
They were struck in gold ,silver, and bronze.
There is also a crowned version, maybe rarer because I haven't seen one for a while.
Yes they were struck in the UK.
A couple sold recently on ebay for about $30
I have one I bought a number of years back for about $30
