This is a coin that I found when I was about 10 years old.
I can't seem to identify it and am hoping to find some help here!

Description:
Small metal coin with "CHRISTIAN REX" written on one side, with a small crown in the center.
On the other side there are symbols that I cannot recognize.
Thank you!!

some questions:
- where did you find it?
- what are the dimensions?
- what material do you think it is? Is it magnetic?
- could you post a bigger picture (first picture)

The writing gives me a late late mediƫval feeling.
Skandinavian?
Sweden Denmark had several kings with the name Christian

Hi! Thank you for the response.. Here are the answers to your questions:

- where did you find it?
I found it in California, near a church... But it was about 15 years ago

- what are the dimensions?
The diameter is just about 1.75 centimeters

- what material do you think it is? Is it magnetic?
It doesn't seem magnetic but I can't find an actual magnet at the moment... Maybe it's pewter... it has that look to it. not sure.

Hello and welcome.

I strongly suspect that it "seems very old" because it was deliberately made to look that way, rather than actually being very old. It's certainly in the style of a mediaeval European coin, but I've never seen one that looks like that, and it appears to have a gun of some kind as the central design theme on the other side. I would guess that it is a "renaissance fair" coin, made by somebody (presumably a guy named "Christian") demonstrating how mediaeval coins used to be made but using a design entirely made-up by them. It probably isn't actually made of silver like a genuine mediaeval coin would be; it appears to be made of lead or pewter.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Great! Thank you for the responses! I somewhat thought it could be a replica or something. Great to hear from all of you. Thanks again for the input :)

Something similar to what 'Sap' said.
There is a guy who makes custom jewelry and has a facebook page under 'Christian Rex', perhaps he made them for his 40th birthday party. Or someone made it for those medieval custom/fighting parties.
