I noticed that Charlton lists 1937 Canada Small Cent twice. One listing is for Matte version of the coin. Has anyone ever come accross such a coin? I would really be interested in adding it to my collection.

I believe the matte variety was only issued in specimen sets for that year.

skip is right, matte is a specimen finish. theres a mirror finish as well which is more expensive.
