someone please help me to get this through my thick skull.

silver is around 13 bucks per ounce.

so why is bulk silver starting at 24.00 per ounce.

this is just hard for me to understand, if buyers and sellers are not going by the stock market why do we have it ?

The current spot price for silver is ~$17.24 per troy ounce. You can buy 1 oz silver bars at any number of websites for ~$18.25. I agree that some places will sell silver for $24.00 per oz. if they can get away with it. If you do a little searching you find decent deals on silver bars and rounds.

Silver is at $17.23 right now... Not sure difference between silver and "bulk" silver.

First ....not sure if you posting $13oz was a typo ...

But right now "bullion desk" has silver at $17.27

As for price of bulk silver .... Not sure what type your buying.

A Morgan bucket might be that high.

90% should be around $14.00 to $14.25. 1oz of 90% would be little over $18 ....at leat local to me.

A silver round here ... You could buy ..around $18.75

You are zero for three on those 3 thoughts. Silver is not 13 bucks per ounce, bulk silver is not "starting" at $24/ounce and why should either be related to the stock market?
