What do you all think? It seems elevated to me, judging by the base of the bust not being a continuous line, but I am not 100% sure. Interestingly, there is a second Cud forming to the left but doesn't yet go rim to rim. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

For some reason I have had a lot better luck finding Cuds (like the one that is my avatar) than I have finding Retained Cuds. This is really the first one of these I have found in the wild, but I have found about 10-12 full Cuds. I guess Cuds are easier to spot...

Hey Sudz, do you mind if I steal that image for future use here at Coin Community? It's a perfect instructional shot.

SsuperDdave, please do, I would be honored.

John, you are right. It just doesn't quite make all the way to the other rim. If both of these broke away that would have made for an awesome Cud.

Looks like a Retained Cud. On the area next to the rim you can see the displacement. Always nice to see that displacement on a Retained Cud.

Good to see others are saving images for future use on the forum. They are a great teaching tool!

Would this listing on ebay be an advanced stage of the OP (Sudz) coin?

It might be. Depending on markers would probably be necessary.
