Just found this on a dig... believe it might be a medal from the Sokol Movement, but have yet to find an image of this exact medal. The front face has two people on horseback with an inscription that appears to be Polish. The letters are worn, however I was able to identify two of the words as "wczorajszej czesc" which translates to "part of yesterday" The words before that and after that are hard to read. The back is very worn, however it appears to be the image of the "Sokol athlete" the typical "falcon" pose. Any ideas on the exact date/type of medal we found?

Thanks for the help with the wording... I apologize for the quality of the picture. This was honestly the BEST I could get! It actually is harder to read when in hand. The lettering/images are VERY worn and almost to the point of them being flush with the main body of the medal. The only way to even see the image on the back is to get it wet and even then it is nearly unrecognizable. Thanks again...looks like it might have to go into the "mystery" file!
