I assume this coin is probably a fake but can anyone help and explain why?

The images are not the best but they look more like a coin with silvering put on than a real silver coin.
Details look worn off where they should be based on other details on the coin.
Better pictures would help to make a more definite assessment but it seems your gut feeling is right.
