I never got into Confederate money as much. I have a few tattered Confederate bills, but I don't think they're worthy of posting. On the other hand, the notes above are looking great.

Something not particularly rare, but that I haven't seen all together before: my set of State of Alabama Confederate Notes:   The 25 and 50 cent notes bear the image of Juliet Hopkins, who would become known as the "Florence Nightingale of the South."   I particularly like the ink burn on the back of the 50 cent note  All of these notes are uniface, including the One

Incredible notes, especially those Bisons!  As soon as I find about $500 lying around under a couch cushion or something, I'll pick up a nice G or low-VG specimen of my own ...

Yeah, the Bison was on my short list of "gotta have" notes and I finally decided to spend some serious cash to pick up a nice on at a coin show last year. No regrets whatsoever!
