All,
Just wondering about opinions of this particular error. Is this something that might be worth grading? It was actually given as change in circulation. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Charlie

You have a partial offset ink transfer on a well-circulated note. In circulated condition it is worth maybe 10$ wholesale and maybe 15$ on the retail end. In "Unc" condition they are worth around 25$. Generally speaking the more the note is affected by the transfer, along with how dark the transfer is, the move valuable it becomes.

It is worth keeping, but not worth slabbing in my opinion.

Nice circulation pickup!
Rest in Peace

Nice find.

The cost of grading is bad enough but they charge extra for errors so it gets ridiculous for any item that doesn't have a significant premium value.

It seems odd that the note wasn't yanked from circulation a long time ago. At least it has a good home now.
