Starting to find a few shoddy ancient coins (I stashed away some time ago) while still unpacking, here one I suspect is Crispina but I can't find any reserve matching (sorry about the poor images, but that's how the coin is):

Crispina? Crispina?

All enlightening comments are welcome.

Could be these eyes playing tricks but I'm seeing what looks like the letters for IVLIA on the obverse.

That's nothing, I see a laughing cow on the reverse.

The only letter which is 100% clear is the final 'A', looking at different angles with a loupe it looks like and 'R' is also visible (therefore my assumption), was hoping to get some feedback from the profile experts since I am not that strong in that area.

It's clearly a standing figure with the bottom half of the legs uncovered (not a reverse type I can find for Crispina) potentially holding a shield.

And @ 'Valecrucis': please explain.

My first ompression was Julia Domna. I think I see IVLI. I believe their is enough of the hairstyle left to nail it down. Reverse is a guess helmeted figure. Athena or Mars. (?)

Thanks 'Ancientnoob', might as well be a Greek Imperial rather than a Roman coin - IOYLIA or IOYLIAD might be on the left side, have to get my loupe out. Quick check on Wildwinds gave me one reverse which shows similarities, namely

First some vitamin A and some rest for the eyes though.

Thanks again everyone, especially 'Ancientnood'.
Before starting this topic I had narrowed it down (on the basis of inscription length and hairstyle) to Crispina, Julia Domna and Lucilla - ie everyone else was out. But as said, my portrait differentiation skills are not the greatest.

Having had a more detailed look at the reverse again, I can confirm that is the type of the coin I linked in the last post. Enough details and partial/fractured inscription left to verify it.
So it is an AE27 of Julia Domna from Rabbathmoba, a mint which operated only from 193 to 222.
Which makes me happy, can make two nice ticks 1. another mint on the list 2. it is a very rare type.
Btw, 'Ancientnoob' your guess of Mars was right (Ares though, since it is a Greek Imperial coin ).
