I'm happy to share a very rare and unlisted coin of Crispus. It is a VIRTVS AVGG camp-gate AE-3 from the Rome mint. I was able to only find three other examples of this coin online. It was struck at Rome in 218-319 AD. It is 19 mm. in diameter and weighs 3.82 grams.

I found it, unattributed, in a six coin lot on ebay.

I'm also happy to share that the coin was purchased from me today by Dr. Lars Ramskold in Stockholm. Dr. Ramskold is one of the world's leading scholars on Constantinian coinage and he let me know that this coin will be part of an up-coming publication on die matches.

Very interesting coin, I wasn't able to find any reference to it either. Nice find.

The coin is listed but the officina is not. It is RIC VII Rome 171. RIC only lists officinae P & S,but along with this workshop of T, Q is also to be expected.

RIC #171 is a camp-gate with three towers. This coin has four.

The closest match for Crispus is RIC #191 which is listed as having four turrets and open doors.

This coin has no doors.

The coin with four turrets and no doors for Crispus appears to be unknown to RIC.

There is an online listing for a coin that matches this one, but the seller lists it as a variant of RIC #191, even though it has no doors.

Very attractive, I'm particularly fond of coins of Crispus, although the camp gate is probably one of my least favorite reverses. I also like the patina.
