As can be seen in the photo, looks likes inverted and or upside down impressions of letters above "In God We". The obverse is the only sign of error, nothing on reverse. Can I get any opinions on this? Thanks in advance.

SunWay.

looks like it's been squeezed with another coin to give that impression

Looks like a vise job. It's the top part of "America". If you flip the pic horizontally, you can see it.

I agree. Possible Two Cents were placed between two boards and then hit with a hammer transferring just a few mirrored letters. If a vise were used the whole design would have transferred.

Thanks for the input. I wonder why the words "In God We" were not affected with the press? Any ideas? Thanks.

It was probably hit by the method of the two pieces of wood hit with a hammer and that was the only area the head made contact with and just left those transferred devices. The tops of the G and D look like there were touched during the process. PSD
