Hello all, wondering if this maybe a S/S or even possibly a S/D. I looked at VarietyVista.com I did not see anything for 1954S Nickels. Thank you for the help.

There is a well known 1954 S/D Jefferson.
So well known that it's even in the Red Book ... with a picture.

Hello, the only reason I posted this one, is it looks different then the ones on PCGS.com. Is there diff. dies, EDS/MDS/LDS, weak vs. strong strikes. "kenga", you mention it being in the RedBook with a picture. Is this picture similar to my picture or the picture of the ones on PCGS.com. Thank you.

This is a link to Brian's; seems he had a single variant if there are multiple die combos (I'm thinking no, but I don't know).

Variety Vista's link to CPG lists just the one S/D -

1954-S/D OMM-001 FS-501 (033)

Cherrypickers' lists Coneca's OMM-001 S/D as well. Also lists one for S/S. By the looks of your coin, it might be S/S (RPM-001), but not S/D. Good luck!!

The area on the inside of the bottom loop of the "S" is from a damaged punch. The area next to the rim looks like it was flattened some from a coin roller. A closer image might help some?
