1999 February Dot Quarter - Coin Community Forum

GRcoins Valued Member Canada 64 Posts	Posted 10/21/2014 9:30 pm Hi All My mother collected 1999 quarters in the mint rolls. I can see that one end quarter in the February roll has the dot between the last two 9s in the date. I'm wondering what the value would be for a quarter from the roll in comparison to the one with the dot. Thanks GRcoins Report this Post to the Staff

Scissel Pillar of the Community Canada 693 Posts	Posted 10/22/2014 10:41 am Dots in the area of the date are more collectable than dots in other areas on a coin. I would hold onto the coins until the variety is listed in a catalog. If you release them into circulation they will be ARPed - never to be seen again. I think I have this particular variety already.
