Congrats on the finds. I used to keep every bicentennial quarter I found but now I have rolls and rolls that are taking up space. I started snagging these back in 1976 so I think I'll sort out a few high grade coins to save, check the others for varieties, and cash in the rest.

I usually only get 2 or 3 a roll.

Are there really some varities in the bicentennial halves? If so what are they or where can someone find some information on this?

Bisontenial half dollars? I did not know the government made halves with buffaloes on them?

The bicentennial half dollar isn't anything rare or special.

Not sure if there are varieties for halves. But yes on quarters.

Quote: Sure they did, 1991 Mount Rushmore half dollar. I didn't realize that the Bi-Centennial era had either a silver anniversary nor a half dollar honoring Mount Rushmore. Possibly a NIFC coin that the mint didn't publicly advertise?
