Hey Everyone, I'm fairly new to ordering from the mint. I'd like to pick up two of the new half collections coming out on the 28 but the website says "Limited." What is the best way I can insure that I can get my hands on some? I imagine they go really quick the day they are released. Anyone have advice and/or can explain to me the process for ordering from the mint?
Cheers from Indiana.

Don't worry about getting shut out. They are "Limited" in the sense that I believe you can't order more than five sets at one time (but it is possible to make multiple orders). And it is "limited" to the number of sets ordered by the time they decide to stop taking orders or the number of sets they can strike before Dec 31st, whichever comes first. They plan on having 150K sets on hand before they start taking orders on the 28th and they want to sell as many of these sets as they can.
Good luck, from another Hoosier.

It especially seems that with there still being some "bugs" with the new website the best bet would be to wait a few days after release, like mentioned above. Should be able to bypass the frenzy (and who knows what possible crashes could go on) and order without any worries.

The mint has put a 300k limit on the sets.

Personally I feel the set is overpriced just for 4 silver half dollars. I haven't decided if I am getting one or not. Could always make a profit flipping it.

If I wanted pcgs to grade them a year from now would they still qualify for fs designations if the boxes were unopened ? I could only find the ngc submission instructions . http://www.ngccoin.com/kennedy50Quote: the best bet would be to wait a few days after release They could go on a long wait backorder in a few days ! Care to guess the final mintage after all returns 200k

Yeah I posted that last comment of mine before I found out about the mintage limit of 300,000. Now there will be more hype about the coins which means they may very well possibly sell out in a few days. Once more into the breach friends. GLHF

Thanks for clarifying that for me if postmarked from the mint before nov 27 then sent at a later date unopened hope values hold well then do a multi sub latter with some other coins.
