If you're talking about under "One" in "One Cent" Then it's PMD, the rim took a hit and displaced metal inwards.

I think he is talking about the shape at the very left of the stairs of the monument. Interesting...

Its almost at the same level as where the initials are but the other side.

Looks like a parking lot cent. If something presses on an area, there develops a moved metal area like a crater around it. Just a contact mark like the ones on the rim. PSD
