Hi Everybody

Newbie here :-)

I am aware that there are many reprints of this coin, however I found this one which was used back in the day with Arab trading. If somebody have any idea on the actual year and value it would really help. This one looks really old and worn, I've researched the internet but cannot figure it out.

Thank You

Conrad

First off, welcome.

Appears to have been struck on an undersized planchet, but what I see as wrong is the reeded edge, which suggests to me that it's not genuine. A weight would be helpful.

We have some real experts in these here who I'm sure will be along shortly & have more to say.

Authenticating and identifying variants of these restrikes can be devilishly difficult.

Under Hafner's classification system, H58 (1932-35 Vienna mint) will only be 39.5mm and have an appearance similar to this specimen, and the subsequent H71 (Rome) will also be "too small" but can be overweight (up to 28.14g). But as I said earlier, if that's a reeded edge, all bets are off.
