This is one of my favorite coins- a common variety, S-24, but an attractive one due to the bulging cheeks on Miss Liberty. Thus, affectionately called the 'Apple Cheeks' variety by Dr. Sheldon. How would you grade her? CQR warns about overgrading S-24 due to the pronounced high relief of the bust. The reverse is less well struck, and my photo unfortunately does not capture it well. Thank you for your comments,

Im in the VF30 camp. Just a beautiful coin. I hope you read this. What's the one coin on your want list that you really want?

Thank you all for your opinions. I personally grade this coin VF25 by applying EAC standards (and I still struggle with those). It is a nice coin and was glad to find it. Like I said, the bulging cheeks are quite endearing.
Panzaldi, many thanks to you for your comments. There are some coins in my want list (a Continental Dollar is one - would love to have one of those), but at this stage they are likely to remain wishes as my personal situation has changed.

Germanicvs,
I had no ideal what a Continental Dollar was and I found one that sold in Feb 2008 on Heritage. MS 63 CAC. Amazing coin only for $103,500. I can't even imagine what my wife would do if I bid on that one. LOL.
