I guess I am just being lazy but I don't look forward to wading through the SCWC 4 volumes trying to ID this.

The item weighs 2.15 grams and measures about 15mm x 14mm.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

Not sure what SCWC is (some sort of catalogue I suspect), but I wonder if it has those in it
It's an ancient Indian coin, Mauryan or Sunga -> http://www.indiaonline.in/About/pro...ent-Era.html
And for more detail -> http://rajesh-godofkings.blogspot.c...k-coins.html
If you want to clearly attribute the coin you cannot be 'lazy' but have to work out the specific punchmarks etc

Thanks. I will dig through those references.

SCWC are the Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins, different volumes for 1601-1700. 1701-1800 1801_!()) AND @))!_DAQTE. They are3 each like a telephone book.

Thanks again!

Thanks for clarifying what you meant with 'SCWC', I refer to those just as Krause.

But you wouldn't have found your coin there, it's well older than covered in any of those catalogues.
