The obverse shows some nice detail, good coin. Leaving it as it is or trying to (slightly) clean the reverse?

I might be able to clean it a little, but I think for now I'll just leave it along.

Based on only one response I guess not too many people like this coin type.

My coin curiosity has gradually expanded East as decisively but rather more slowly than Alexander the Great. Thus far I have toyed with the Indo-Parthians and Indo-Baktrians, but have yet to go further ;-). I do think coins like yours here are extremely interesting though, Echizento. I am just a little lost with them as yet!

Give it time, except for 'Valecrucis' who seems to be a night-owl the United Kingdom posters are all asleep and for the Australians, they are doing the Saturday morning shopping. Plus since it is Friday night in the USA, how many of the posters from the United States are currently attending a rave party?

A night owl yes. I am trying, but seemingly failing, to address that issue! But I am off to bed now...goodnight to you all!

I like Kushan coins and I like your new coin :)
At WFOM this summer I picked up a couple but haven't posted them yet. Just a couple of Soter Megas bronzes. I should look for a type I don't already have.
Kushan gold is some of the more affordable gold and the designs are interesting. It's on the (endless) list...

I'm trying to spark some of the many lurkers here to sign up and comment on every ones coins not just mine. Six months ago we had a very active group but it has slowed down to just a few people now. I would just like to see more people getting involved again.

TIF, Soter Megas is still on my list. I know they are pretty cheap but I haven't found one I like yet. As far as the gold coins go, they are well out of my reach even though they are so much cheaper than any other coin type.

Quote: A night owl yes You are in good (?) company, quite often it's 2am before I go to bed. Quote: Soter Megas is still on my list Not sure if I posted it before, but here is mine: AE Tetradrachm from Taxila, Soter Megas (~55-105) - Mitchiner#2928+ and just in case I did, let me add another Kushan coin: AE Unit from Taxila, Period of Vasu Dev II & Vasishka (~250-260) - Mitchiner#3534+ (Reverse is Shiva with the bull, traces of corrupt Greek legend on both sides.) And yes, I will have to take it out of the 2x2 to get rid of the verdigris, it's getting too much.

My version of this coin, albeit not nearly as nice as yours. Glad to see it mentioned here.

Bronze is beautiful. Gold is cheap. Silver is Rare. Your coin is nice. Better than most, better than mine and should be cherished as such. Great coin Ron.

Did you see that of over 1300 'reads' of D.G's post only 15 replies - and those from only 8 'different' sources (0.62 of 1%). (Yes, I have an accounting background.)

nice coin ski, one of the type is on my list. I don't have a huviska, but I do have this coin of his predecessor kanishka.
