It seems as though we are all 'spreading our wings' and going places that we have never gone before, if the 'threads' can be believed.

On that theme here is my latest acquisition to arrive.
(Same coin - different lighting.)

Ant-Nose-Money---8th---3RD-Century-B.c.

The I-Pi or 'Ant Nose' money originates from Ancient China and was used in the state of Ch'u; a southern province occupying areas running south to the Yangtze (Yellow) River.

I am not interested in Chinese coins, but I would have one of these in a heartbeat. Fascinating little coin.

Sorry, CM. I should have put that up in the text as well as the title.

Yes. 8th Century to 3rd Century B.C. Well before European 'money'.
