Hi khasil - looks like severe corrosion. I took a look at Cuds and didn't see anything there for your date/MM.

Looks like something on the coin on the obverse area. Soldier or something else. Not a Cud as the reverse devices would have been weak like a normal Cud would be. This happened after the strike, not during. PSD
