The usual help with grade and variety, but also the C word. Yes clean or not to clean, if so how?

Are you asking if you should clean it or if it has been cleaned? A cleaned copper coin will generally have fresh bright "new" copper look on high points with the common browning in the field. If a copper coin has been dipped it often has a pinkish look to the cleaned copper, very ugly and not desirable at all. Copper that has been cleaned with a polish then aged often ends up with the gasoline rainbow effect but this also happens naturally, a trained eye can spot the difference immediately.

Doug has this coin nailed.

Would like to remove the verdigris, but I'm not interested if it will harm or look overly cleaned. Thanks for the help with variation.
