Does anyone know much about these? I looked over some coins for a lady recently and she had this one. The description for many of the replicas do not match this coin really, but it's also not silvered like they were (this was thin, so could have worn off). It also appears to be lacquered.

I'm leaning toward it being a replica but wanted to see if anyone here knew any more about these.. and if perhaps a replica would have value. Pictures below the links.

Size: 29.72mm
Weight: 11.11g (within the weight for the small sale shilling which is 63.5-177 grains)

Looks identical to this replica, right down to the slight offset of the reverse:

Even while the picture was still loading I could tell it was fake. First picture in the upper left quadrant you can see enough of the edge to see the casting seam (above the DS). Metal looks like a pewter base.

Thanks guys, that's the one :)

Conder - the way these were struck kind of gave me pause as to whether it was a cast seam or not, but yes, that was my immediate thought as well. Just wanted to be 100% sure before I told this lady.
